Welcome to the Croswell Fair website!

The 2008 fair is over. 2009 is the 125th anniversary of the Croswell Fair!

WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!! IF YOU HAVE ANY COMMENTS, CONCERNS, QUESTIONS, OR IDEAS FOR THE CROSWELL FAIR PLEASE CONTACT US AT info@croswellfair.org  WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM OUR VISITORS, AFTER ALL, THIS IS YOUR FAIR!

The Croswell Agricultural Society was founded in the late 1800's. Its purpose was to promote and advocate the agricultural lifestyle. Within the Society, the Croswell Fair Board was formed to organize and host an annual agricultural fair that would help contribute to the message of the Agricultural Society's celebration of the farming community. Although much has changed in 100+ years and agriculture is no longer the primary business in America as it once was, it is still very vital in the Croswell area, and even more important than ever before. The Croswell Fair gives visitors that think milk comes from a store the chance to actually see a cow being milked, or even a newborn calf as was the case this year! The Croswell Fair gives many young visitors from urban upbringings the chance to see farm animals that they would never see otherwise. It is both educational and entertaining; something that everyone can use more of!

2008 will mark the 124th annual Croswell Fair. The fair has changed with the times. There are demolition derby's and figure-8 races; there is a midway full of carnival rides, games and of couse, food! You can still watch harness racing at the Croswell Fair, which boasts the fastest fair track in the state of Michigan and is home to one of the richest futurity races: the Charles Coon Memorial Futurity. You can watch the heavy horses work together to drag the stone boat at the horse pulls. Sure, you can watch the tractors from the farm try to out pull each other, but you can also watch hobby tractors with 2 and 3 engines, or beefed up 4-wheel drive trucks scream and throw dirt all the way down the track with the "Humiliator" in tow! There is fun for everyone in the family and that is what matters to everyone on the Fair Board: family fun. So bring your family to the Croswell Fair in June to have fun, be entertained, and even learn a thing or two about the agricultural lifestyle!

See you at the Fair!!
